About Las Palmas-Ponderosa Lodge No. 366
Las Palmas Masonic Lodge No. 366 is the second Masonic Lodge to be formed in Fresno, California. We were chartered by the California Grand Lodge of Masons back in 1905 and have been an active Masonic Lodge for over 125 Years.
In the 1980’s, Ponderosa Lodge No. 700 consolidated with us and our name was amended to Las Palmas-Ponderosa Lodge No. 366. In 2015, Clovis Lodge No. 417 consolidated with us.
Masonry is not a “secret organization” but it is a fraternity that has a few secret parts that candidates must commit to memory.
Masonry is open to men of good moral character, 18 years or older, who believe in a supreme being and are willing to memorize a required proficiency before advancing from the first to the second degree and from the second degree to the third degree of Master Mason.
It is the purpose of a Masonic Lodge to initiate good men in to Masonry and make them better men by teaching them the principles of our order as they progress through the Fellowcraft degree and eventually be raised a Master Mason.
Since most men who are interested in Masonry will have questions about our fraternity and/or Las Palmas-Ponderosa Lodge, on the second Monday of each month we have a BBQ on the Patio so that their questions can be answered.
This is an informal gathering that starts about 6:30 and is open to men who want to know more about Las Palmas-Ponderosa Lodge and Masonry. Reservations are not required, just show up.
We are located at 2992 E. Clinton on the south side of the street between Fresno and First. Our parking lot is in the back of our building, and this is where you also enter our building.
