Did you know that Las Palmas-Ponderosa Lodge spends approximately $4,500 per year to publish and mail the monthly Trestleboard?  That's a sizable chunk of money.  As of June 2008, we print approximately 750 newsletters and mail to over 729 addresses every month.

We think that having a quality publication to communicate the business of the lodge with all our members is very important, and we have no thoughts about discontinuing with the newsletter.  But we can reduce our costs by asking members of the lodge to download the publication, rather then receive the Trestleboard in the mail.

When you elect to download the Trestleboard, you get the publication in full color and we can provide additional pages of information because it costs us very little to distribute a larger publication.  In turn, with your permission, we can take your name off the mailing list, thus reducing the number of Trestleboards we print and mail.  That saves the lodge money!
