Masonry is not a religion.  In fact, it is considered inappropriate to discuss religion or politics in the lodge.



There are many rumors and mis-conceptions about what Masonry is, or is not.

If you are interested in becoming a Mason, you should learn everything you can about Masonry before joining.  There are many web sites, both pro and con, you should visit in your quest for knowledge.

Stated Meetings - Most Masonic lodges hold a monthly Stated Meeting to conduct the business of the lodge.  Las Palmas Ponderosa's monthly stated meeting is held on the third Thursday of the month, starting at 7:30pm.  To attend a stated meeting, you must be a Master Mason in good standing.

Stated Meeting Dinners - It is a tradition of our lodge to offer an excellent dinner before the stated meeting.  Dinner is $10.00 per person ($5.00 for widows), and begins at 6:00pm.

Please make reservations with the lodge secretary 48 hours in advance of the stated meeting date so our chefs will have an adequate amount of food.  To make reservations, call (559) 268-2303.
